Getting More out of Your Massage with a Epsom Bath Afterwards!
As a massage therapist, I often recommend taking a Hot Epsom salt Bath after a massage because of several factors. One I have moved alot of metabolic waste as I manipulated the muscle tissues. Drinking water will help flush these toxins out, but you still may feel achey and sore for 24-48 hours after your massage.
Epsom salts taken as a bath promotes perspiration and draws acidic wastes - mainly uric acid - through the pores of the skin. This all helps to relieve pain. This bath also sedates the nervous system, reduces swelling, relaxes muscles, is a natural emollient, exfoliator, and much more.
How to prepare: Soak in warm water and 2 cups of Epsom Salt. Be sure to have a tall glass of water to drink while you soak for up to 15-20 minutes.
Foot Soak: Soothe aches, remove odors, and soften rough skin with a foot soak. Add 1/2 cup of Epsom Salt to a large pan of warm water. Soak feet for as long as it feels right. Rinse and dry.
Soak Sprains and Bruises: Epsom Salt will reduce the swelling of sprains and bruises. Add 2 cups Epsom Salt to a warm bath, and soak.
Splinter Remover: Soak in Epsom Salt, it will draw out the splinter.

Colon cleanse benefits and why I should get one. The concept of colon cleansing is said to have started with the ancient Egyptians and Greeks who believed that digestive waste can solidify and accumulate on the walls of the colon. They also believed that this process could then contaminate the bloodstream and poison the body.
Most people have heard about acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), more and more folks in the United States have actually tried them, but people don't always realize some of the key benefits they should be considering. Traditional Chinese Medicine is Holistic: it looks at the whole person and what's happening in their whole life.
There are many colon cleanser products on the market today as more and more consumers become educated on the reported benefits of cleansing. The colon is part of the large intestine and it stretches down to the rectum. It is about five feet long and has the primary job of storing waste and extracting water and nutrients before that waste is expelled from the body.
Many experts argue that there is no real need to cleanse the colon because it has the ability to fully clean and protect itself. However, the ancient Greeks felt that waste residue in the colon combined with bacteria could seep through the colon walls and poison the bloodstream. Clearly there are millions of consumers that believe that theory as more and more people are starting to cleanse the colon as a means to lose weight, get clearer skin, and to get rid of a whole host of digestive ...
